Plants Know No Borders

Mirabella joins forces with Solidarity Apothecary to raise funds for the Mobile Herbal Clinic!

I have been an admirer and supporter of the work of Nicole from Solidarity Apothecary and The Mobile Herbal Clinic for years. In one of the previous Fundraisers I bought a t-shirt and hoodie. Now, because of Brexit, it is becoming difficult and expensive to send packages from the UK (from where she works) to Europe. And in order to effectively send as much money as possible to The Mobile Herbal Clinic, instead of to taxes, duties and shipping costs, I have decided to let the European part of the Fundraiser run through my site. All items will be printed in Antwerp and shipped from Antwerp.

Want to order from outside Europe? You can't do that via this site but you can via Solidarity Apothecary!

About The Clinic

The Mobile Herbal Clinic Calais is a dedicated mobile clinic that aims to operate in Calais and Dunkirk during the first week of each month. We provide preventative healthcare, self-care support, first aid and assistance in accessing medical services to hundreds of refugees and undocumented migrants living in the area.

About Solidarity Apothecary

The mission of the Solidarity Apothecary is to materially support revolutionary struggles and communities with herbal preparations to strengthen collective autonomy, self-defense, and resilience to climate change, capitalism, and state violence.

This project is led by anarchist organizer and herbalist Nicole Rose (she/her) who is based in the Westcountry, England. Her roots are in English, Welsh and Irish. She has been studying herbal medicine for over 15 years and has completed a four year clinical training at the Plant Medicine School in Ireland so she can treat people with herbs and she continues to study continuously.

As a clinical herbalist, she focuses on supporting people who are affected by state violence. This includes prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families, refugees and asylum seekers, organizers and suspects who are affected by repression, and more.

About the Sliding Scale
For some items we have chosen to work with a Sliding Scale concept. This means that you can pay more or less, depending on your financial situation.
The Standard price is for people with an average income and safety net.
The Lower Price is intended for people who have difficulty meeting their basic needs in months with unforeseen expenses.
The Higher price is intended for those who have room for extras in their monthly spending pattern.

You can judge for yourself which situation applies to you at this moment and this also remains private. Just be honest and know: the more you pay, the more can be donated effectively. But even in the lower price range, something still goes to the Mobile Herbal Clinic.

And you can certainly support this fundraiser by advertising it extensively: the more orders, the lower the price at the printer and therefore the more we can donate per order!
