About the Sliding Scale
For some items, we've chosen to work with a sliding scale concept. This means you can pay more or less depending on your financial situation.
The Standard price is for people with an average income and safety net.
The Lower price is intended for people who have difficulty meeting their basic needs in months with unforeseen expenses.
The Higher price is intended for those who have room for extras in their monthly spending pattern.
You can judge for yourself which situation applies to you at this time, and this will remain private. Just be honest and know: the more you pay, the more can actually be donated. Even with the lower price range, some proceeds still go to the Mobile Herbal Clinic.
And you can certainly support this fundraiser by promoting it widely: the more orders you place, the lower the price at the printer, and therefore the more we can donate per order!
About the clinic
The Mobile Herbal Clinic Calais is a mobile clinic that takes place every first week of the month in Calais and Dunkirk. The clinic offers preventive medicine, self-care, first aid, and access to healthcare to hundreds of refugees and undocumented migrants living in the region. Since 2019, we have helped over 10,000 people access healthcare. Our medicines are grown, harvested, and produced in solidarity with people seeking asylum in the UK and despite the hostile environment they face.
