Two Dunes Smoke Wands

Two Wild Dunes Smoke Wands:

One with Sea Wormwood, Heather & Pine (and a bit of Mugwort)
and
One with only Den.

These 3 herbs are typical for the beautiful wild dunes of Texel. They each have their own scent and energy, but fit beautifully together in this Wild Smoke Wand. I created this smoke wand to show that wild herbs from here deserve just as much reverence and respect and have just as much energetic beautiful power as the known herbs to "smudge" with. (maybe even more so than white sage and palo santo which unfortunately are not always harvested with the same respect).

The scent of Sea Wormwood ( Artemisia maritima ) is really very special. I saw the herb and although I had never seen it before I immediately heard a voice inside me that said it was Sea Wormwood, very special to hear that voice so simply. Family of the Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) I know. The scent was so special and the herb grew abundantly at the place where I encountered it. I carefully picked sprigs of it, as you are supposed to do: only a few sprigs per plant, making sure not to damage your plant. When I got back to the campsite and looked up more about the herb I read that it is on the Dutch Red List of Plants. So I felt rather uncomfortable because I had picked the plant, but the plant really spoke to me and I really picked very respectfully and sparingly.

So I only made 6 sets of these smoke wands;
one set for myself and 5 sets for the webshop, of which a few are available separately and a few are included in the Summer Souvenir package.
